Movies
The first film I ever saw was Jungle Book with dad. I am not sure what cinema it was at but I do remember that we had to leave part way through because there was a fire or at least that is what I think happened. I would have to check with dad to be absolutely sure but as we are both losing our memories I am not sure if I have made it up. I also remember seeing Grizzly Adams and The Spy Who Loved Me with dad. When I was older we went to a cinema in Walsall - it was unlike cinemas today - one screen (or maybe two) and the queue would go around the block. The carpet was always sticky and you bought your ticket and sat anywhere you could. It was a Canon cinema but is no longer there. It became a Woolworths.

Match Box
This reminded me of something we were asked to do when I was a young girl and that was to see how many things I could get into a match box. I think I remember the match box being one of the stubbier types (not swan) and I think I also remember getting quite a lot of things into it. You couldn't have two of the same thing. Funny really but I wouldn't mind having another go at it now. In fact I think that we both should have a go and see who can get the most in theirs. What do you think?
The only joke I could find
Q: How can you avoid spotting a wrinkle every time you walk by a mirror?
A: The next time you're in front of a mirror, take off your glasses.

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Do you have to tell it all?
Where do you get the glaring right
To make my clothes look too darn tight?
I think I'm fine but I can see
You won't cooperate with me,
The way you let the shadows play
You'd think my hair was getting gray.
What's that, you say? A double chin?
No, that's the way the light comes in,
If you persist in peering so
You'll confiscate my facial glow,
And then if you're not hanging straight
You'll tell me next I'm gaining weight,
I'm really quite upset with you
For giving this distorted view;
I hate you being smug and wise
O, look what's happened to my thighs!
I warn you now, O mirrored wall,
Since we're not on speaking terms at all,
If I look like this in my new jeans
You'll find yourself in smithereens!!
Do you have to tell it all?
Where do you get the glaring right

Listen to this.
Hope There's Someone by Antony & The Johnsons
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKVHko9YIq8
It made me cry anyway
Hope there's someone
Who'll take care of me
When I die, will I go
Hope there's someone
Who'll set my heart free
Nice to hold when I'm tired
There's a ghost on the horizon
When I go to bed
How can I fall asleep at night
How will I rest my head
Oh I'm scared of the middle place
Between light and nowhere
I don't want to be the one
Left in there, left in there
There's a man on the horizon
Wish that I'd go to bed
If I fall to his feet tonight
Will allow rest my head
So here's hoping I will not drown
Or paralyze in light
And godsend I don't want to go
To the seal's watershed
Hope there's someone
Who'll take care of me
When I die, Will I go
Hope there's someone
Who'll set my heart free
Nice to hold when I'm tired
