8:43
I am settled for a good nights sleep. Hopefully you are sleeping now too and if not you should be.
I love you.
8:00pm
Thinking of you. Watching Due South. I hope you are sleeping with your new hair do.
Noticed this and thought of you. Look what you have to look forward to.
Did I mention that I have eaten the apple? I might even be tempted to have another. So much for five fruit and veg a day.
6:47pm
Going to eat. Can't cook! Won't cook!
6:23 pm
Hi honey. Just a few tears this morning. Thinking of you. Glad to hear that your mom and sister are taking you in hand i.e. the hair. Maybe by the time I see you again you will also have given birth to the twins. Two years is the longest gestation period for a human that I have ever heard of. Still I love you just the way you are.
It has been a long day at work and I have tried not to panic over what is to come in the next few weeks. It all gets done but sometimes it is extremely embarrassing when you have forgotten something.

I hope the people who remember you and have seen you again don't think that your marriage to me has taken too much of a toll on your dashing good looks and your physique. After all you were 6ft  and had a button nose before you met me.

10:35pm
Just been creating this blog. Apple still by my bed side. I've done a fair bit of reading. Funny how I never have time when you are around but still I would rather have you here. You know sweety hearty the phone calls remind me of the early days. Comfortable and warm. I am keeping myself busy. Must have a bite to eat. Photo reminds me of me in the bath only I don't look as good and my horns point downwards (obviously).
Monday 28th 2:08am
I woke up and realised that you had phoned me. I sent a call - glad that you have landed safely. My book beside me on the bed. I am tired and wondering whether I should call your brother's number but reasurred that you are OK and with your family.
Love you.
2:40am
Have received a call from you. You sound refreshingly normal. That is nice. I am reading until I fall to sleep again. I hope I hear the alarm in the morning.
7:30pm
I have just woken up. Should I ring? On reflection, I think you need your sleep so I will not. It has been a funny day. I was tired this morning. I really did not think I could face work but I went and then someone answered my prayers and we were sent home. Not the snow I had wished for but a good sign I think.
Love you
Sunday 28th 9:11pm
I am just imagining that you are going to walk in through the door. I try not to think any further than that. The thought of you being so far away hurts. I am pretending that you are late from work or that you are in London. Anything other than your flying further and further away.
I am missing you despite that. I have eaten the rest of the potato and spinach, glanced at the bananas (your fave fruit).
Who is going to make me lunch?
Who's tummy will I hug?
Did you sleep on the flight?
I may read a little. I've carried that book around with me all week and never once opened it. There! I am crying now. I will try to sleep or eat this apple.
I love you xxx
