To spend so much money to prove you have enough money to live just sounds contradictory to me. Why is it only I that sees it that way?

Sorry should I repeat that in Urdu? No! You are officially an English Speaker. It took £200 and a piece of paper to tell us what we already knew. How ridiculous - the hoops one has to jump through. Surely things were once simpler. Why make anything easy when bureaucrats can make it harder. Some land, a little hut and the two of us together are all I need and want. Soon will come the day that we have to have a test to prove that we can breath.
Someone said I was cynical yesterday. I think I am just a realist. I'm fed up with bolstering other's egos - just let me live a simple life with dignity and with the person I love.
